AYBU Business School Quality Workshop is going to be held on Wednesday, April 12nd 2017 at 13:30.

Followed by the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Tuncer Asunakutlu (Dean of Business School), Prof. Dr. Fatih Vehbi Çelebi (Vice Chairman of AYBU Quality Board and Vice Rector) and Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay Karabulut (Coordinator of Quality Assurance) will give speech about Research on Academic Evaluation and Quality Development in our University and Turkey. The first session is going to be ended with the introductory speech given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Engin Şener (Vice Dean of Business School) on System Booklet, which has been designed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Kemal İlter (Acting Chair of Management and Information Systems Department) and put together by the contributions of all members of Business School. Following coffee break at 15:00, second session is going to be started and parallel workshops are going to be held on departmental basis. In these workshops, satisfaction questionnaire prepared by AYBU Quality Board Information and Questionnaire Systems Working Group is going to be conducted. Subsequently, corporate internal evaluation is going to be held by stakeholders on the basis of major questions directed to departments as part of Bologna Process.

All of our stakeholders are invited to our workshop.

Attention to those who are registered for ITB 436 and ITB 438,

15. Changes related to BUS 308 and BF 202

1. BF 308 Investment course is going to be lectured by Prof. Dr. Nildağ Başak Ceylan on the same day (Tuesday morning) in Room BS43.
2. For BUS students, additional section is now opened for students registered to BF202 Financial Management course. For this session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kapusuzoğlu is going to lecture on Tuesday mornings in Room BS68.

 

16. Changes related to BUS 330

Attention to students registered to BUS 330 Working Capital Management

BUS 330 Working Capital Management course which is originally planned to be held on Tuesdays between 13:30 and 16:20, has been moved to Thursdays between 13:30 and 16:20 in Room BS80.


17. Important Notice about ITB 426

ITB 426 Human Resource Management course is not going to be opened this semester. Those students whom have already added this course during course registration have to drop this course during Add-Drop week. Otherwise, these students will encounter course credit loss.

21. Attention to 3rd and 4th Year Business Administration Department Students

1. Those students whom have successfully completed BUS 304 Business Policies course are going to be exempted from BUS 406 having the same course title.

2. Those students whom have successfully completed BUS 304 Business Policies course will complete their credit load incompleteness (due to being exempted from BUS 406 course in their eighth semester) by registering BUS 306 Production and Services Management course.

3. Those students whom have successfully completed BUS 303 Leadership and Managerial Skills course are going to be exempted from BF 307 Corporate Finance.

25. The mother of Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Kemal İlter (Head of Management Information Systems Department) has passed away. Her funeral ceremony is going to take place at Karşıyaka Cemetery after the noon prayer (24.01.2017). Please accept our sincere condolences.

29. Information about Transportation to the Opening Ceremony of Külliye.

With the honoring of our President and Prime Minister, the opening ceremony of our University’s Esenboğa Külliye (Campus) is going to hold on December 2nd 2016, Friday at 14:00. Buses to the ceremony are going to depart from Bilkent Campus at 11:45 and from Etlik East/West Campus at 12:00.

32. Our First Meeting is carried out at new campus (Külliye) with the presence of our distinguished Rector.

The first academic board meeting of the semester is headed by the presidency of our distinguished Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Doğan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan and Dean Prof. Dr. Tuncer Asunakutlu on October 27th, 2016. Consultations were made about our new campus, academic year and faculty.


33. 5th Period of REKMER Entrepreneurship Trainings is getting started. 

Under the leadership of Cluster Academy and Competition Center (REKMER), the fifth round of REKMER Entrepreneurship Trainings is going to be organized.

Undergraduate, Masters and PhD students and academic staff may apply for Entrepreneurship Trainings, which have been a comprehensive educational program in line with the entrepreneurial vision of our university. These trainings are aimed to enable participants with sufficient conceptual framework on entrepreneurship and enable them to visualize how theoretical knowledge can be transferred to practice. Students and academic staff from various disciplines are eligible to apply. Trainings are going to be given by experienced staff both from academia and private sector.

Following courses are going to be provided during the training program:
